Own the day.
Build the daily habits that make the site safer, clearer, and more predictable—even when the plan changes before lunch.
Do this
Complete a real or simulated daily log that gives someone who was not on site a clear picture of what happened, what changed, and what needs attention next.
Done when
Your log records the work performed, labor or crews on site, meaningful progress, constraints or delays, schedule or cost impacts when known, important conversations or decisions, supporting photos, and the next action required.
Save this proof
Keep one strong redacted daily log with supporting photos. Remove confidential owner, client, employee, subcontractor, pricing, or project information before using it outside your company.
Do this
Use the drawings and specifications to investigate a real or simulated field conflict, missing detail, discrepancy, or constructability question.
Done when
You can identify the applicable sheet and specification references, clearly explain the conflict, show what information is missing or inconsistent, and prepare a decision-ready question or RFI without guessing at the design intent.
Save this proof
Keep a redacted or simulated package containing the relevant drawing/spec references, a marked-up excerpt if appropriate, your conflict summary, and the question or RFI you prepared.
Do this
Create a short-term field lookahead for an active or simulated project area.
Done when
The lookahead identifies upcoming activities, sequence, responsible trades, manpower needs when relevant, deliveries, access requirements, inspections, prerequisites, constraints, responsible parties, and target dates. Update it as field conditions change.
Save this proof
Keep one completed lookahead plus at least one update showing how you responded to changing conditions or cleared a constraint.
